Running and Drinking

Running in the hills in the morning; tasting wine at work in the afternoon. Life isn't all bad.

All About the Beer

This week appears to be all about the beer. Hmm. First, there was the tasting of stouts at the Wig and Pen.

Then we got lots of stock of Belgian Beers to sell in the shop, and The Young Hipster was very pleased.

And then we had tastings of beer to celebrate the World Cup - both at work...

...and at home.

North Sydney

We went to Sydney for the weekend. The main reason was for Him Outdoors to run the Trailfest Sydney, so we didn't even go into the city, but stayed on the North East side exploring the trails and the beaches. It's a different aspect to the Sydney we usually visit, but another gorgeous aspect of this multi-faceted city.

The Trailfest was 100 km over three days (split into approx two days of 40 km each and the final of 20). Him Outdoors won it. The terrain was fabulous through coastal forests and along cliff-top paths. I did a tiny bit of it with my camera.
