Lakelight

Some of these sculptures were at Lakelight at Jindabyne. Others weren't. They are presently (for two days) on the Tuggeranong lakefront. So we went along to see them.

Santa Fun Run

Santas are one of those things that just look better en masse. It was a lot of fun to be one of a thousand people in Santa suits running the 5km circuit around Lake Burley Griffin. Part of the enjoyment was seeing the bewilderment on the faces of people we passed as they were just out for a morning stroll.

We sprinted (oh, alright then, jogged) off course to check out the jaguars at the Terribly British Day, which was an exhibition of British motor vehicles, held by the lake shore. After completing the 'run', we returned for more drooling.

Barry Bignose is back!

Another visit from the lovely Mr Bignose - that's twice in two years! We are honoured (and I'm not being sarcastic). Obviously we had to sample all of Him Outdoors' beers, and then some others.
