Celebrations, Chester and a Cockatoo

Big congratulations were in order for Him Outdoors who came second vet in the Australian Mountain Running Championships. We celebrated with a couple of pints of his beer made to a Brakspear's recipe

Posing on top of the writing desk, Chester has decided this is his new favourite position, between the wooden vase and the coconut platter - both from Borneo. I haven't the heart to tell him he's a Burmese and so doesn't actually belong here.

Meanwhile, we still get our squawky visitors in the garden.
