Walking, wine and curry

Calamity Sue is clearing out her parents house prior to the sale thereof. They have lived there for 42 years and obviously accumulated a lot of stuff. It has been a tough experience for her both physically and emotionally clearing. We went along for moral support and while Him Outdoors did helpful things with light fittings and fixtures, I helpfully drank bubbles with her by the light of a mobile phone.

The next day, I saw this piece of graffito on a shop wall, which seemed uncannily similar.

Deciding to reinstate date night, Him Outdoors and I went out for a very tasty curry at Bharat International.

Obligatory shot of the Walking Crew have finished our circuit of Lake Burley Griffin.

It was hot outdoors. (To be honest it is especially hot here because the thermometer is in the sun trap placed under the corrugated laserlite sheeting.)

We took our annual trip to Four Winds Winery for wine and pizza, which was a lovely way to spend an afternoon. And then people came back to ours to sit in the shade of the patio.
